Jack Ginter

As president of Abbot Downing, Jack is responsible for leading the organization’s client-centric approach and business strategy. Abbot Downing provides solutions for ultra-high-net-worth clients through qualitative and quantitative wealth management offerings that positively impact clients and communities across generations.

Prior to this role, Jack was a member of the Abbot Downing senior leadership team where he was responsible for the client experience and client service model. He served as the senior managing director for the firm, overseeing regional management, business development, the Legacy and Planning Practice, and the Institute for Family Culture.

Jack has a long history as an executive in the banking industry, both in corporate lending and wealth management. He joined Calibre/Wells Fargo Family Wealth in 2008 as the regional managing director in Philadelphia. Before joining Wells Fargo, Jack worked as the city executive for U.S. Trust in Philadelphia and South Jersey. In this role, he was responsible for overall client services, business strategy, and financial results in those markets. Prior to U.S. Trust, he worked at Wachovia Bank (a Wells Fargo predecessor) in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, serving as a partner on the wealth management team. His career started in Philadelphia with CoreStates Bank.

Jack graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He served as a vice chairman of the Board of Directors for the Zoological Society of Philadelphia and currently serves as chair of the Comprehensive Campaign Committee and as a member of the Development Committee.

Jack and his wife, Katie, and their two children live in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
